Jan, Faithful Companion Lloyd and Jan were married in July, 1963. Jan continued to pursue her education and received her BS in Elementary Ed., June 1964, from University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska; Years later, having moved to California, Jan acquired a 5th year of study being completed at California State University, San Marcos. She is a public school certificated teacher, and has taught for 43 years, plus substituting for several years following her retirement in 2007. She has been certified in Nebraska, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and California for Teaching Credentials; She was certified as Language Development Specialist in California; also taught in the Bible Living Schools in Arkansas and Oklahoma for 9 years; Developed the use of the "Language Experience Approach to Reading Instruction" while serving as the Director of the Primary Learning Center in a private school in Oklahoma; Jan plays the accordion, piano, and organ; organized and led Music programs in public and private schools. Lloyd and Jan have 2 daughters, Janel and Pamela, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. |
