How Bible Living Ministries, Inc. began:
John 1:14 states "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, . . ." The Word in the beginning was God, and Christ became the Living Word, the Bible is the written Word, which still lives because Christ is the Word and still lives. The Word did not decrease, but the flesh was lifted to the level of the Word. The flesh was made to live according to the Word in Christ, thus, "Bible Living". We are to live according to the Word in body, soul, and spirit.
Founding of Bible Living Ministries:
Bible Living Ministries was born in the heart of its founder and vice president, Lloyd Phipps, in 1979. Bible Living Ministries was incorporated in Arkansas, USA, on August 9, 1979 as a Domestic Non-Profit Corporation, and received its federal income tax exemption under section 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) of the Internal Revenue Code on July 31, 1980.
Bible Living Ministries, Inc. received the Certificate of Authority from the office of the Secretary of State, state of South Dakota, on March 10, 2004.
Purpose of Bible Living Ministries:
This corporation is organized exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific and educational purposes with the meaning of section 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 as amended, and more particularly, preach, communicate, and propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ by all available means.
The Founder:
The Founder of Bible Living Ministries, Inc. is Lloyd J. Phipps, who became an ordained minister on August 9, 1965. After completing the necessary courses of study, he received his Master of Theology on August 8, 1981 and his Doctorate of Theology in August, 1985. Both degrees were earned at Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, Indiana, USA. Dr. Phipps has been a Pastor, Christian School Administrator, and President of Bible Living Ministries, Inc. for a combination of over 50 years. His ministry has always centered around the teaching of the Bible, and has worked with various church and doctrinal backgrounds to establish the Truth of God's Word in every Christian. The theme of his entire ministerial life has been, Bible Living for every Christian. Dr. Phipps has, with the help of his wife Jan, started and administrated two Christian schools, assisted in starting several other schools and help birth several churches. Our policies are governed by being Biblically sound without regard for denominational preferences. Therefore, we are Non-denominational, or Inter-denominational, whichever way one may view it. One aspect of Bible Living Ministries, Inc. remains the same, the Living Word, the Bible, is our message.
